Overview of the Forum app in Viindoo¶

Requirements

This tutorial requires the installation of the following applications/modules:

Viindoo Forum

Key features of the Forum app¶

Viindoo’s Forum app will provide some key features as follows:

Establish and manage forums;

Create and manage posts on the forum;

Setup and manage ranks for members using Karma points;

Set and manage tags to search and categorize posts;

Create and manage badges for users;

Setup and manage the post-close reasons.

Forum app installation¶

Proceed to the following steps to install the Forum app:

Navigate to Viindoo Apps.
Delete the default Apps filter and type Forum in the search bar.
Click on the Activate button.

After successfully activated, the Forum features are available in the Website app as follows:

Note

The Forum app is an extension of the Website app.
