Project support requests handling tools (Integrated with Helpdesk)

Requirements

This tutorial requires the installation of the following applications/modules:

The Project and Helpdesk app integration feature is used for support ticket creation to relevant departments or employees to execute tasks in projects.

  1. Create Tickets.

    Navigate to Project ‣ Tasks and select the tasks that need to be supported, click on Create Tickets.

    Click on Create Tickets

    The system will redirect to Helpdesk in Kanban view. Click on Create to create a ticket. The Task on request and its Project will be auto-added to the ticket details.

    After finishing creation, users manage tickets created from tasks by using the Tickets button.

  2. Convert to Ticket

    In the task that needs integration, click on Convert to Ticket.

    Next, complete the information to convert it to a ticket. Information such as partner, email, project, and description will be moved from task to ticket. Note that Helpdesk Team is required and click on the Create Ticket button at last.

    When completing convert, tasks that have converted to tickets will not be displayed in the project. Learn more about the use of Helpdesk app.
