Getting started with Social Marketing in Viindoo: overview and configuration

Requirements

This tutorial requires the installation of the following applications/modules:

• Social Marketing

The trend of approaching customers through social media marketing channels has been very popular in most types of businesses. Using social networks as a tool to convey messages, reach out to customers, orientate, popularize products and services, implement marketing campaigns, etc. help businesses get closer to the target audience.

However, using various social network channels at the same time leads to the need of controlling the content conveyed through these channels consistently. Therefore, you need an integrated tool instead of manual management to help control the work and resources efficiently. The Viindoo Social Marketing app assists you in controlling posts on social media as well as managing interactions on each post quickly, effectively, and easily.

App installation

Navigate to Viindoo Apps and search for the Social Marketing module. Press the Install button to install the app.

After the installation, the Social Marketing app will be displayed on the overview dashboard.

Access the app, a menu will be displayed including:

• Articles : List of articles on the integrated social networks;

• Posts : List of articles posted on the integrated social networks;

• Notice: Display notifications across all the social media channels;

• Pages: List of the integrated pages that you are the administrator of;

• Configuration: Set up social media accounts integration and other settings.

Access rights

You need to set up the corresponding access rights based on the job position of each employee to ensure that everyone has enough access rights to work. Navigate to Settings ‣ Users & Companies ‣ Users, choose the user account that needs to be configured, click Edit, and go to the Social Marketing section.

The app allows you to grant access right for each user to control the information posted on social networking sites as follow:

• Editor: Create new articles, edit assigned but not yet confirmed articles, and can confirm articles;

• Approve: Has all access rights of this module but configurations;

• Administrator: Has full access rights in this module.
