How Pro-forma invoice works in Viindoo

During the sales process, sometime you will need to send Pro-forma invoices to customers to check before sending the commercial ones, or to use in delivery procedures (for example: long delivery time, export goods, etc.). In this case, you can activate the Pro-forma Invoice feature in Viindoo system.

Requirements

This tutorial requires the installation of the following applications/modules:

• Sales

• Invoicing

Enable the Pro-forma Invoice feature

To enable the Pro-forma invoice feature, enter the Sales app, go to Configuration > Settings, scroll to Quotations & Orders, check Pro-Forma Invoice and press Save.

Use a Pro-forma invoice in an order

Enter the Sales app, create a sales order following this tutorial: How to create Sales Quotation and Sales Order. In the sales order, you can see Send PRO-FORMA Invoice button. Press this button to send a Pro-forma invoice to your customer.

The system will auto-attach the Pro-forma invoice in this email.
