Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_mrp_bom_stock_value.
- Press Install.

Unbuild the purchased product
1. Product receipt
Create a product and proceed with the receipt process for this product.
Note: The product group of this product needs to apply the AVCO or FIFO valuation method.
2. Create Bills of Materials (BoM)
Navigate to Manufacturing > Products > Bills of Materials, press Create to create the BoM for the product on step 1, including the components and price percentage of each component.
Note: You need to install the to_mrp_bom_component_percentage module to set up the price percentage for the components.
3. Create Unbuild Order
Create and process the unbuild order for the selected product.
4. Check the stock value of the components
When you finish with the unbuild order, the system will reduce the product quantity and increase the components quantity of that product, at the same time, the stock value of the component is also updated. Navigate to Inventory > Reporting > Stock Valuation, open the product and the component details, the system will update the quantity and the stock value of each component according to the ratio set on the BoM.
In case the component is received for the first time, the cost will be auto-updated on the product detail of this component.
Unbuild a manufactured product
1. Create BoM and proceed with the manufacturing order
For the manufacturing enterprise, set up the BoM, create and finish the manufacturing order.
2. Create an Unbuild order
Create an unbuild order from manufacturing order.
3. Check the stock value of the components
On the Stock valuation report, the system will update the quantity and the cost of each component according to the ratio set on the BoM.
