Changes log
1.1.1 - Latest on the 19.0 line
- The customs voucher posts each customs tax on the accounts of the tax's own distribution (the +100% and -100% tax lines); no separate counterpart account to configure.
- Once a declaration is confirmed by the customs authority, its rate, clearance date, currency, transfers, lines and taxes are locked: the posted vouchers keep their amounts.
- Declarations can be created without a currency rate (data import, integrations): the rate is computed from the clearance date.
- A tax payment reset to draft keeps its declaration done while the taxes stay reconciled; a customs voucher settled by its own reversal counts as voided, not paid.
- To void a whole declaration: Cancel it (export declarations, and import declarations without posted landed costs); an import declaration whose duty or expense landed costs are posted cannot be cancelled - reverse its customs vouchers at today's date (taxes voided, declaration back to Confirmed) and reverse the capitalisation with a negative landed cost on the same receipts; it then stays Confirmed as a record of the clearance.
- A reversal dated today voids the voucher: its rows read unpaid and the declaration cannot be set done while a voucher is unposted or reversed.
