What it does
Glue module between the Vietnamese accounting reports and the import customs declarations.
- The list of purchase invoices and documents (01-2/GTGT) shows one row per customs declaration
with import VAT confirmed by customs in the period (by its clearance date): customs document
number, clearance date, customs authority and its tax ID, import VAT base and import VAT amount,
under the section of goods and services eligible for VAT deduction. Paying the customs taxes in
a later month does not list the declaration again; a reversed import VAT voucher is listed as a
negative row in the month of its reversal. A declaration whose import VAT is still unpaid at the
end of the period carries a note: that VAT is deductible only once paid.
- The import lines of the VN tax report read the customs vouchers through Vietnam Accounting
Reports (l10n_vn_viin_account_reports). A customs tax at 0% posts no voucher, so this module adds
the declarations' bases to the 0% import duty and 0% import VAT base lines.
