What it does
Bridges the shop floor interface to the Maintenance application, so a machine breakdown is
reported where it happens - on the tablet at the work center - instead of on a desktop form.
Key Features
- One-tap breakdown
- Stops the work center and opens a maintenance request in a single action
- Books the downtime to the operator who lost the time, even when a supervisor taps
- Zero typing
- The machine, the work center and the operation are filled in from context
- The request title is generated, never typed
- Request a technician without stopping production
- For a machine that still runs and only needs servicing
- One call per breakdown
- A second tap, or a second tablet at the same station, collapses into the request already
raised and shows who called the technician and when
- A station already stopped for another reason stays stopped, and its stop reason becomes
the breakdown
- Controlled restart
- Only maintenance and production managers restart a stopped station by hand
- A manual restart while the request is still open leaves a note on the request
