What it does
This module is a bridge. It joins the shop-floor screen to Manufacturing Quality Control so that
a worker records a quality result at the machine, on the same touch screen they already use to
run the job - instead of walking to a desktop to open the quality wizard.
Key Features
- Show every quality step configured on the operation, on the work order's own screen.
- Record Pass or Fail with one touch, and record a measurement on the shop floor numpad.
- Attach photo evidence to the quality check straight from the device camera.
- Raise a quality alert from the shop floor without leaving the job.
- Show the quality steps that are still outstanding BEFORE the job is started, so a worker
knows what is holding the Start button while they can still act on it.
- Reopen a step recorded by mistake with a single touch, restoring it to its original state.
- Describe a step by what it can do, not by its name - a quality test type added by the
customer gets its controls with no development at all.
Benefits
- Quality results are recorded by the person who did the check, at the moment they did it.
- The same measurement gets the same verdict at the machine and at the desk.
- Fewer trips away from the workstation, and fewer results recorded from memory later.
- A work order can no longer be started with its material checks silently outstanding.
Who Should Use This Module?
- Manufacturing companies running quality control on work orders.
- Workshops whose operators work on touch devices with gloves on.
