Instruction video: Show EInvoice Information on POS Receipt
This module adds the provider-agnostic e-invoice disclosure block to the printed POS receipt. Once a customer invoice is issued through any of the e-invoice providers - Viettel S-Invoice, VNInvoice (VNIs) or MISA meInvoice - the same E-Invoice Generated from Cash Register note prints on the receipt, together with the Decree 123/2020/ND-CP mandatory lookup identifiers and a QR code, without any extra setup.
1. Complete a POS order and request an e-invoice.
- Ring up the sale as usual on the register, then click Payment.
- Enable the Invoice option before validating, so the order is linked to a customer invoice.
- Select the payment method and click Validate.
2. View the e-invoice disclosure on the printed receipt.
- Once the e-invoice is issued, the Receipt screen shows an E-Invoice Generated from Cash Register note below the order lines, together with the e-invoice serial and invoice number.
3. Check the mandated Decree-123 lookup identifiers and QR code.
- Below that note, the receipt also prints the tax-authority code (when the provider returns one) and, side by side, a QR code together with the lookup code and the lookup URL - the same layout core itself uses for its own "Need an invoice?" block. Scanning the QR code, or opening the lookup URL, takes the customer straight to the tax authority's lookup page for this e-invoice, as Decree 123/2020/ND-CP requires. These rows appear the same way for every supported e-invoice provider, not only one.
4. Automatic retry while the e-invoice is still being issued.
- If the e-invoice has not finished issuing at the moment the order is paid, the app quietly retries fetching the disclosure information a few times right after payment, without freezing the checkout screen. If the first print was too early to include the lookup identifiers, open the Orders screen, select the paid order, and click Print Receipt to reprint it once the e-invoice has finished issuing.
5. No e-invoice requested - no disclosure block.
- When a POS order is not linked to an invoice, the receipt prints as usual with no E-Invoice Generated from Cash Register note.
