In some situations, businesses need to develop different online sales plans, online marketing strategies, preferential tax policies, etc. for partners in different countries. By default with Odoo, we cannot determine the country of the user who registers for an online account (also known as a portal account).

- Partners access the website and register for an account:
- On the partner's portal account, based on the internet IP address where the account is registered, the partner's state/province and country information will be displayed respectively:
- In the system, you access Contacts and find this partner's contact, at the Partner Assignment tab you will see more information about the latitude and longitude:
