What it does
This module integrates Vietmap Routing and Matrix APIs into the unified routing
framework of to_geo_routes, specifically for routes inside Vietnam.
Vietmap provides local, Vietnam-focused map data, which is particularly valuable
for businesses operating wholly or mainly within Vietnam. With this connector,
Odoo/Viindoo can request directions, distance, travel time, and distance matrices
from Vietmap and use them as inputs for fleet management, delivery planning, and
VRP-style optimization – all within the to_geo_routes ecosystem.
By combining Vietmap with other global providers (Google, Mapbox, HERE, SeaRoutes),
companies can prioritize Vietmap for all routes located in Vietnam while still
leveraging other providers for international operations.
