Birthdays and founding dates, with the parts you can group by
A date of birth on a person, a date of establishment on a company - and the day, month and year split into their own searchable fields, so "whose birthday is this month" is a filter rather than an export.
Partner Date of Birth (technical name to_partner_dob) is an Odoo 19.0 app for Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise and Viindoo Cloud, built for hr, marketing, sales.
At a Glance
The facts of Partner Date of Birth, version 1.1.2, in one place. Published by Viindoo.
How It Works
Two screens, one field, three derived ones.
On a person
The date sits with the other personal details. Behind it, day, month and year are stored separately so they can be searched.
On a company
The same field, labelled for a company - which is the field a B2B database wanted in the first place.
In the list
Because month and day are fields, "birthdays in September" is a filter you can save.
What You Get
Birth Day on individuals, Date of Establishment on companies - the same field, labelled for who it is
Day, month and year stored separately and indexed, so a birthday filter is a plain search
Groupable, so a list can be read by month
On the contact, which means it follows to employees, customers and portal users
More Screens
Everything below was taken on a database seeded with real business data, on this series - not a mock-up and not a screenshot from an older version.

What This App Does Not Do
Read this before you buy. Everything below is something the app deliberately leaves to another app or to you.
No birthday email, no automation - the field and its parts are what the app provides.
Birth date and establishment date are the same underlying field; a contact is a person or a company, not both.
Works Well With
Apps from the same stack, built to fit this one:
Who Should Use Partner Date of Birth?
HR

Marketing
Builds a birthday campaign on a filter, not on a spreadsheet.
Sales
Knows how long a customer company has existed.
