Allow defining fiscal year
Support recognizing manual journal entries on the system to facilitate the control and traceability of posted journal entries
- Automatic journal entries are entries automatically created from activities in different apps, according to the configuration of the system. Example: When products are received at the warehouse, journal entries reflecting this activity will be automatically created accordingly.
- Manual journal entries are independent entries that are not created based on any particular rules set up in the system. Example: Entries recording the opening balances.
Provide new features for the general settings of the Accounting app, such as:
Last day of a fiscal year (Date, Month).
Fiscal Period Closing:
- Lock Date for Non-Advisers.
- Lock Date for All Users.
- Anglo-Saxon accounting.
- Configure a suspense account to record transfers from one bank account to another.
Add new user access rights in accordance with different roles in accounting

Configure user access rights
Add new user access rights in accordance with the different accounting roles in a business:
- Auditor - Readonly;
- Accountant;
- Administrator.
Usage
Example: A process of goods purchase > receive goods in warehouse > sell goods (delivering and invoicing), review newly created journal entries applying the Anglo-Saxon Accounting.
- Step 1: To have the above workflow up and running, other than the to_account_accountant module, you need to install the following software:
- Step 2: Configure the product category and create a new product.
- Step 3: Create a purchase order and receive products at the warehouse.
- Step 4: Create vendor bill and review accounting information.
- Step 5: Create a sales quotation, sales order and deliver products.
- Step 6: Create a customer invoice and check accounting information.
Other features
