Asset Classification
- Organize assets by nature: Tangible, Intangible, Finance Lease, Investment Property, Biological, Deferred Expense.
- Configure reusable Asset Categories with pre-set accounting rules so every new asset is recorded consistently.
Flexible Depreciation
- Three depreciation methods: Straight-line, Declining Balance, and Accelerated Declining Balance.
- Two scheduling modes: by a fixed number of periods, or up to a target end date.
- Pro-rata (daily) calculation for assets acquired or disposed of mid-period.
- Non-depreciable policy for assets held for capital appreciation.
Automation
- Automatically create assets when a vendor bill is posted — no duplicate data entry. When an invoice line has quantity greater than one, individual assets are created for each unit.
- Depreciation entries are generated and posted on schedule with no manual intervention.
- Adjust the remaining depreciation schedule at any time — change the number of periods or the end date, and the board recalculates instantly.
Revaluation & Impairment
- Record upward/downward revaluations and impairment losses directly on the asset.
- The remaining depreciation schedule recalculates automatically after each adjustment.
Disposal, Sale & Reclassification
- Dispose of or sell assets with one click — the module calculates residual value, posts the write-off entry, and optionally generates the sales invoice.
- Reclassify an asset to a different category (e.g. own-use property → investment property) with a proper reclassification journal entry.
Analytics & Reporting
- Assign analytic distributions to assets — cost is automatically distributed across analytic accounts on every depreciation entry.
- Built-in pivot and graph views for analyzing asset values, depreciation progress, and posted vs. unposted amounts.
Localization-Ready
- Built-in hooks allow country-specific modules to auto-map accounts, set default policies, and enforce local regulations.
- Works with `l10n_vn_viin_account_asset` for full compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards (Circular 99 and Circular 133).

Bước 1: Cấu hình tài khoản và phương pháp khấu hao cho Nhóm tài sản.
